Everyday Wellness
A place to return to yourself.
Simple somatic practices for stress, balance, resilience
and everyday well-being.
Begin here

What does “somatic” mean?
Somatic simply means “of the body.”
Somatic practices invite us to notice sensations, breath, movement, posture and the world around us as part of understanding what is happening right now.Rather than relying only on our thoughts, we begin to include the information our bodies are giving us, too.
You don't have to fully understand it before you experience it.
Try it for yourself
a short orienting experience
For the next minute, you don't need to change anything.
Let your eyes gently look around the space you're in.
Notice three things you can see.
Perhaps a color, a shape, or something that catches your attention.Notice where your body is supported right now.
Your feet on the floor. Your body in the chair. The surface beneath you. Then notice yourself.
What are you aware of in your body right now?
There is nothing you need to make happen.
Just notice what is here.
What do you notice now?
